Augmented Reality (AR) understands the physical environment and overlays contextual digital content that enhances our real-world experiences. It’s a hybrid experience where the Physical and digital worlds co-exist and complement each other in a useful manner. AR is one of the most easily accessible technologies for industrial and personal applications. It requires only a smartphone, tablet or wearables. Unlike VR, AR does not cut-off the user from the physical world that they are in and therefore the immersive experience is limited.
